About Ba

Directed by Bárbara Mau, a 22 years old from Setúbal.
Studied at ESTC (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema), with a bachelor’s in Cinema with a specialisation in Cinematography. Barbara was an intern, as a video assistant in a film shooting, “Amadeo” from Vicente Alves do Ó that will premiere in November of 2020.

“This project came from my love of Sende and wanting to show a certain stillness that I think is one of its key elements. I’ve always wanted to dabble with film and thought this was my chance to try it out.
‍
So, I got myself a Super 8mm film camera, bought film and got myself on the road to Sende. Here is the result.”
